Devpro started in 2018 with two developers. Our first project was a freight document tracking system for a small logistics company. We built it in three months and delivered it two weeks late. That taught us something important: clients aren't upset by delays themselves, but by not being told about them in advance. Since then, every project includes a weekly status report, and good news and bad news travel at the same speed.
Over nine years, our scope has grown: from websites to manufacturing ERP systems, ready-made SaaS products, and startups we build in exchange for equity. But our approach hasn't changed: we study the process first, then write the code. On most of our projects, the first week isn't spent at a computer, but at the client's office or on their shop floor.
